23 Aug 2010 ~ Manila Siege

was very shocked by the news. Around 8.30pm i rec a call from Jovial's god-daddy asking if we @ home but we are not. We were @ the sushi restaurant in Punggol Plaza. He actuali wan ask switch on the channel and watched the LIVE news of this Hong Kong tourist bus (Kang Tai Travel) was hijacked by an ex- Philippines police officer. The bus carries 21 Hong Kong tourists and 4 Filipinos. Lucky 9 hostage were released but the rest were suffering inside the bus. The whole incident we can see from the tv or video that the police officer react too slow in this crisis... even after the gun man was shot to death, those officer are still dilly dally outside duno for wat!? and they just belief from the bus-driver (which manage to jump out of the bus himself) that all 15 passengers were all dead! No need double check!? the youngest fatalities was only 13 years old! I was watching the news till 2am. Realli sad... like i alwaz tell ppl around me, life is reali short. take things easy and move on. Treasure watever you had now and dun regret in future.. dun be over demanding! Mrs Leung with her family members (plus she herself total 5 pax), Mr Leung and their 3 kids age 14, 18 & 21. 3 of them are dead! Mrs Leung survived after her husband shield her from the bullets. After she was rescue, she still duno her kids whereabouts and was very worried. In the end her daughter age 14 & 21 were pronounced dead and 18 years old son still in ICU. Hope he will be fine...
Lastly..
Deepest sympathy and condolence to all the victims family members and may all the soul of those Hong Kong tourist rest in peace.
